We have some bittersweet news to share. After much thought, we will be closing our sauna for the final time on September 14th 2025.

Some of you may know that Emma has been studying accountancy for the last little while, and she has received an exciting job offer!

Of all the reasons to close a business, being offered a new role that is too good to pass up is one of the happiest, but that doesn’t make it easy. We will truly miss our wonderful customers. It has been such a joy to get to know you, share time together, and feel so connected to our community. We are sure we’ll still see many of you around Kill, so please always feel free to stop us for a chat!

Using Vouchers, Bundles & Memberships

We want to handle this closure as fairly as possible. Thankfully, the new employer has kindly allowed me enough notice so that everyone can use up their vouchers and bundles!

Bundles: 

Use them up while you can, but if you have unused sessions after September 14th, we will refund you at a transparent rate.
For example, a 10-session bundle (€104) works out at €10.40 per session. If you used 6 sessions and had 4 left, you’d receive €41.60 back.

Memberships: 

Renewals have been suspended. If your membership expires before September 14th, you’re welcome to use it as normal until it ends.

For memberships that extend beyond our closure, we will refund the unused portion based on the days remaining.
For example, a 3-month membership (€234) covers 78 days of access (6 days/week × 13 weeks). If you have 30 unused days after September 14th, you would be refunded €90.

Refund Process:

Refunds will be calculated after we close, once we know exactly what is left outstanding for each customer. 

They will be issued back to the card originally used for purchase.
If that’s not possible (e.g. an expired card), we’ll contact you to arrange a bank transfer.
Each refund will be accompanied by a farewell email showing the calculation used.

If you believe you are owed a refund but do not hear from us, please get in touch and we’ll make sure nothing is missed.

What’s Next?

We are exploring whether someone might want to buy and continue running the sauna, or whether we will close it down completely and sell the assets. If you or your business are interested in either option, please reach out.

Finally, we want to say a heartfelt thank you. We never set out to be sauna owners,  we just wanted there to be a sauna nearby and ended up building it ourselves. The fact that so many of you came and supported us has meant the world.  We are deeply grateful, and we will miss it, and all of you.  We are so proud of our little sauna, it's been one of the best projects we ever undertook!
